Disable post-count in motemote battle?

Don't know about you guys, but i find the spam some battle brings, don'T really need to have the post count. People are posting the same pictures atlest 100x times

I know post count doesn't do anything much beside having the Elite / Elder title,which does nothing at all. But its like saying Incoherent Babbling doesn't need it disable. I just find that the things we post in those topics are just has bad has in Incoherent Babbling, cuz we're mostly spamming pics for 20 pages.

they take advantage of the battles by posting numerous things and get their post count raised.

I have to agree; most of the posts in the battles are pics of the girls. If a person put all their pics in one post, that'd be one thing, but several posts are made with a few pics in each post. This isn't done to spam, however, but because that's the way it goes. If a fan of a girl put all his pics in one post and only one post, then very few people would see the pics.

It may be too late to do this for this year's competition, but it is something to think about for next year.

I'm inclined to agree (and I'm not even voting in motemote this year). Posts should require at least the use of a handful of braincells before it should be added to the post count. If a drunken monkey on acid can slap a keyboard and it seem more intelligent than a users post. It shouldn't count.

Wait posts still count in the mote mote section? I thought we got rid of that....or was it just talked about before....can't remember. If not it should be.

Disable the post count only in the battle threads, but let it count in the character discussion threads.

Do agree with the Character Discussion. While there is a little bit of spam, its not has bad as the battle themself.

I saw someone who joined after me(which was not that long ago at all) jumped from like 10 posts to 70 in a few days threw motemote :P

I thought about doing this and at first I agreed that it was a good idea. But looking through the threads the vast majority of images are contributing to the thread (posting pictures, opinions, debating) and those should absolutely count towards post count.

If you see someone acting "spammy", report them.
