FPOD: cool, give up then.I've tried to fix the problem of fakku but, I essentially got told to STFU by the trouble making users, the mods and the admin. jakes neutered tactics have resulted in a piss poor imitation of 4chan. If that's what he wants, the fine by me.
as always, you exaggerate the problem. I agree IB is of much poorer quality than what it has been in the past but you always make things seem worse than they are. The spamming was dealt with pretty quickly and those involved were punished (perhaps not in the way you'd like us to but that is another issue). IB will always be the worst of the worst, and it's quality has always been a seesaw of good and wtfisthis. I would like to hear suggestions on how to fix it but I don't believe this will be our downfall as you seem to suggest.
I believe you seem to exaggerate my words rather than take them at face value. The spam was taken care of exactly how I would have expected. Though bans would be slightly longer if I was the one pulling the trigger but, that's personal preference. Like I said, we've tried this in the past numerous times and every idea that was tried, failed or was denied because it goes against jakes quaint ideas that less is more.
really? I think calling it I/B/ is fairly over-dramatic.

really? I think calling it I/B/ is fairly over-dramatic.Trolls, camwhores, general douchebaggery, constant meme spamming, etc I don't see much of a difference between the two. I/b/ is eerily similar to 4chan's /b/. Though atleast /b/ has a random intelligent argument even if the word fag is used like a comma. All we are missing are the raids and CP.

You just described the internet in general. Honestly, you can make anything sound bad if you just point out the flaws.

well, can you point anything good that has happened in IB, except lulz materials?

I wasn't only pointing out it's flaws. I was simply pointing out what I saw in the last 30 minutes.
Edit: It's not all of I/b/ that is the problem. Nosebleed is the only aspect I would save while I expunge the rest.

Spoiler:
Thanks for letting me know. Pls fix it for me as I do not care about it as much as you do.
Perhaps IB needs better defining then. It appears some think that there should be a line drawn as the the amount of babbling that goes on while others believe that the point of the section is for a place of freedom for everything to find its way into - regardless of whether it is crap or gold.

troll have always existed. I don't see camwhores other than one girl who posted nudes, post your pics is in random. douchebaggery is pretty much everywhere in random and IB and has been for much longer than I care to admit. The only thing which seems to have really increased is memes. Also saying /b/ has more random intelligent aruments is fairly flawed as you are comparing the worst of fakku with all of /b/, the better comparison would be to compare /b/ to IB and Random.
Someone asked me what was good about IB, if we consider both sub sections (they both have real merit even if you don't play) we can see that IB has a fair bit of value and honestly if we didnt have IB where would these kids play? You can't have the open fakku community without the retards. I don't understand why you bother to even read it if it's soooo below your standard, just ignore the section entirely.
p.s. Kaimax, the 10% of lulz that IB provides is more than enough to give it a reason for existence.

I do tend to ignore the section entirely and only dare venture into it when I'm bored enough to watch the home shopping network.

Okay, then there's no problem in IB then, thus not needing our opinions on anything and you can go on doing the things you always have done. (nothing)

"im always cute"
You guys should really take these issues up with Jacob, not waar. Every time one of us mods decides it's a good idea to implement more moderation, we get told to slow our roll.

I don't know what you're talking about, Waar.
But seriously, what are you asking for? You said common sense and decency wont work but more strict moderation is not an option. Please help you find a solution. That this is a request to all users who care.
For what solution? What are you asking for if you don't think there's any issues?

FPOD made IB out to be /b/, I said it was not that bad. That doesn't mean it cant be made better.
