Does anyone else dislike that "lacking intelligence" message

Its bugging me because i use a lot of unnecessary punctuation when im typing, but thats just how i am. I also have a tendency to overuse CAPS LOCK, both of which are considered unintelligent.

I was just wondering if anyone else was having this issue as well. I really dont want to be forced to change how i type, but whatever :(

I think it should be disabled in the nosebleed section. I see no point in it being there...I try to post some pictures but then I get that message, so I have to add some useless words just so I can post there.

It's not hard to bypass, but its there for a reason, so you post intelligently.

I do agree with Lazy, however, it shouldn't be in Nosebleed.

of course you can always do what most other people do and just copy the "lacking intelligence" message and paste it at the bottom of their post in a quote box.

In addition to creating the best hentai site in the world my goal is TO EDUCATE PEOPLE AND TURN THEM INTO THE BEST PERSON THEY CAN BE. Proper grammar and spelling is an important part of looking educated.



If anything, I will make the rules more strict.

I wish that when it tells you that your post is insufficient the post would still be there.

It only happens in the Serious Discussion and I forget to end with a period. It doesn't happing any more, but a few times I forget.

I of course still don't like this feature just because a lot of the time I can just sum up my response to something with one or two words.

I can see that. But I see it this way too: If someone asks a question and you just say "no" to that answer, then they will probably want to know why. Because of this feature you are now having to say state your reasoning too. This can lead to other people chiming in and giving their thoughts into your reasoning which ultimately leads to more intelligent discussion.

i just got jacked by this crap, it said it blocked me for capitalization, so i capped the first letter beat the system. the worst part was that i wrote an entire paragraph and it erased the whole thing. i've had problems with other forums not letting posts go thru, so i copied before hitting the post button. otherwise i would have been super pissed at having to rewrite the whole thing. so what if i type in all lower case, i write in all caps. it doesn't mean i'm less intelegent, it just means i'm lazy. at least i don't use that 1337 speak garbage and do use punctuation. i also proof read for spelling, and use the edit button if i see something i missed the first time. in conclusion, it's the standards, not always the posts that are lacking.

Capitalization isn't a super-high standard that only a select few can live up to or that requires a lot of time or effort. Just press the shift button when you start a sentence. I can understand being upset about losing a post because you didn't capitalize, but there's no reason to say that the standards are lacking. I think it's good that this site has standards, and they are rather low standards. A fifth-grade English class is more strict than Fakku.

If you lose a post because you didn't capitalize a letter, then learn from it and start capitalizing. Correctly capitalizing all of your posts for the next year would take less effort than writing and posting this post of yours did.

Yeah, it's the internet, and yeah, people are lazy, but that's no excuse to disregard the simplest grammar rule.
