Download failures (FU/MU)

Downloading mangas from the fakku link (FU) leads to a dead link, and downloading from megaupload always end in a few seconds, resulting in a corrupted file.

The only decent way for me to download mangas is thru rapidshare, and I have to wait 15 minutes between each download. Mediafire is the quickest way to download with no waiting period, which is awesome, but only a select few has a MF link and some of the recent ones I downloaded have weird India-nish titles.

What browser are you using? Does this problem occur for all fakku/MU DLs?

I suggest you use JDownloader then. It's a download manager and it can continue downloads from file hosters like MU or RS, unlike many other DL managers. Has a decent download speed too, so that might fix it I hope.

Using Google Chrome. Will try downloading using firefox, but if all else fail, I'll just cry myself to sleep...

No troubles with MU generally unless a download doesnt end properly and get the "you are already downloading a file error" but with fakku downloads most times it works but as mentioned at times its hit or miss.

i seem to be getting "connection was reset" error everytime i tried to download from fakku servers. any ideas?

I'm getting the same problem while downloading from FAKKU! download(FU) and Megaupoad (MU), each time it always disconnect and says connection problem or can't read from source, but when i use RS or MF there's no problem. another thing too, the download speed for Megaupload or FU is 2.5KB ~ 8KB (i'm free downloading so i won't complaint about it but disconnecting every time i download now, this gotta be a joke.), when i use RS or MF, the speed was good about 37kb ~ 45KB (if the line was in good condition), took me about few minutes to finish. can someone tell me what in the world going on?

Yesterday, i try to download a manga from his unique link, a fakku link(https://www.fakku.net/redirect.php?id=AKu2ahvdm), but was very slow. I tired form it, and stop it. Now, i try to download again, but is not working.

Please check it, because I really want this manga.

i've been having problems downloading form FU server for the past 3 days. i use firefox and an internet download manager to queue my DLs. my DL manager say something about the server using a "hard close"( i assume it also means connection reset)..
now it says "timeout" . i don't download from any other server aside from fakku coz i can't queue my downloads plus most of the other download link don't have resume support. i hope this problem gets fixed soon.

Seriously, it would be a hell lot better if all mangas have a Mediafire link. Just saying...

You can add your own links in there. Upload the doujin to mediafire and put the link in there by clicking the "Add Download Link" button on the right side of the page in the Download Links tab. It's a community effort to have more accessible mirrors.

Please do NOT change the content of the original, I've seen some resized uploads/uploads with pages missing etc etc. (This isn't directed at you btw, just a heads up)

I'm having the same problem with the FU-mirror of both new and old doujins. It's been like this for at least 2 days, and some time before that it worked but was incredibly slow. I have tried with Chrome, Firefox and IE, but it doesn't work at all for me.

The file server was actually down with a DNS issue until just now, should be working soon.
