What is the point of censuring to this extreme for something like this page below? Censuring in general? Especially for something we (should) all have knowledge about before we even enter this site? Please respond if you have a logical answer to the above questions...

It's called Japanese Censorship Laws. Deal with it.
Some censorings are pretty non-existent with nearly invisible lines, but h-anime generally takes the cake with mosaic censoring all over the place...

i think(not sure tho) it was actualy part of their surrender agreement after WW II, and only applies to exported material. so i blame the prudish americans who made them do it.

The Americans could have changed the law but they didn't
Porn was first seriously restricted in Japan in the Meiji Era, when materials deemed “injurious to public morals” were banned [thanks to the introduction of Victorian morals from the West]. After Japan’s defeat in WW2, American occupation authorities changed many of Japan’s laws to guarantee freedom of speech and expression. Sadly, the occupation authorities decided that the pre-existing law regarding pornography didn’t need to be changed. It has remained in effect to this day.

Im fine with censoring up to the point where they start scribbling or just white out the whole area.

i wonder how you get the censor job. if i had that job, i would make copies and sit on them for awhile, then find a way to release them on the net uncensored.

For H-Anime, yeah I think they have people for that, but I guess they have the uncensored version lying around anyway in case the anime gets a localization, say in the US or Europe, where censorship laws aren't as strict. Seen that many times before.
I think I've seen some uncensored "underground leaks" too, but I'm not sure.

you are right, not racial, ethnic slur is what i meant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_slur#J it was used to dehumanize the japanese. it's a comon tool use by governments in times of war. most recently, Hajji, Hadji, Haji, to describe arabs or iraqis
