Fakku Is Down

I've been getting a lot of Fakku Is Down notices for the past 30-60 minutes. Other users have said that they are getting the same thing. Of course, I stared into Hagu's eyes for like 10 minutes before I did anything. Now, I WOULD send angry emails to Jacob...but then it comes back again and I decide not to. So, what's happening? Are you making some changes or tweaks or is this just cause of the server? (Anger Anger Anger Anger Anger *Hagu* Calm Calm Calm Calm Calm)

too many people online = laggy server. I saw it go up to 4000 users online not too long ago.

Bah... Fakku has always been very, very, very, slow... it's something to just expect I guess... but one thing that still pisses me off is how it keeps constantly logging me out at random... even right when I logged in, it logged me out, wtf?

Just got a FiD screen again and got logged out, only to log back in with all posts marked read. 4000 users is a new peak isn't it?

The max ever recorded was 6k online.

Only suggestion I have. I haven't had any real issues with Fakku, but my proximity to the server might help with that.

Option One: Learn to live with it.

Option Two: Donate a gratuitous amount of money.

Most people are going to choose option one, but before you go and close up your wallet after playing with all that lovely money, consider that Jacob's love is priceless and that's what you will receive if you buy new servers.

Ah, but on the bright side, you get to see Hagu-chan's cute face. ^_^

I have been working on things across the site, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Besides the downtime of the site, I'm still getting the odd erasure of all unread posts into everything read. Kinda annoying.

I got a few of those redirects yesterday, but got back to the site after hitting "refresh;" no more annoying than those adds that you need to click "skip" to get past.
