Fakku seems to be down alot lately

So I've noticed that in the past two weeks or so Fakku seems to go offline for a few hours to so every night or every other night. Is there problems with the site or is it something we can do to help keep it up?

Really I have never had Fakku go down for me? Maybe a problem on your end?

I just on at the right times I guess.

Yeah, it's been down a lot lately. Jacob explained it in one of the threads, but I can't remember which. Basically, there is just a whole new level of traffic coming into the site and unless Jacob can figure something out or get a new server it will continue to happen off and on.

Ah so it's down due to Fakku's immense popularity? Will there be a member fund raiser to donate into purchasing a new server for Jacob then?

We totally should do something like that. It be nice for the members to do something for Jacob after everything he has done. XD

If I only had money to donate I would. Perhaps when I get the next chunk of cash I can see if there's a bit I can set aside to do so. I think Jacob would need to set up some sort of official donation spot though so All the Fakkites could be sure where their money was going.

Also, as Jake has said countless time, turn off Adblock and read the manga online. This will help a lot towards funds.

Don't have Ad block on, I read all the manga I read on Fakku online. it helps the site and my hard drive.

That's why I wish I had the money to donate. Quite frankly I download all of my manga and always have AdBlock on even for Fakku. May be cold-hearted and brash, but it is too much of an inconvenience to have all of those ads even on Fakku.

Well at least if a Fakku fund raiser comes to be then you'll have an excuse.

Come to think of it...there was a donate function before.

When F! was selling the Hen-Tie shirts, you were able to "Buy Jake a cup of coffee" for $5. I'm pretty sure that was just a different way of saying "Donate".

Too bad the site's not there anymore.

I would donate 5 if I had it and the option was available. Come to think of it I haven't bought a shirt yet either.
