FAKKU subs and no subs.

Hello there,

The last 2 videos released by FAKKU subs have been turning up without subtitles for me. I use the CCCP and I've never had any issues before, it's always worked fine but now... .

I have no idea what's up, I can't even start messing in the Subtitles option because it's disabled when I right-click on the player during playback and I would appreciate if anyone could help me out on this one.

Play the video in MPC which cccp comes with.

We use what is called softsubbing. This allows the subtitles not to actually be embedded into the video itself and can be turned off if the viewer does not wish to see them anymore. Plus I get to turn a like 4hour fansubbing step into 10seconds with this. Faster and more convenient.

This is the standard for watching fansub videos and we plan to follow that standard. Hardsubbing is outdated and needlessly pointless.

Option A
Open MPC> navigate>subs>see if the more then one setting and check a different sub tab.

or if Option A fail

Option b, Reinstall CCCP.

Both fail then well im out of options

If he didn't mess with the settings then the subtitles should auto load no problem. This is only needing to be done if you wish to turn them off or the mkv has two subtitle files which is rather rare.

And reinstalling cccp solves 90% of problems.

Navigate... disabled.
Reinstalled... didn't work.
Reinstalled again... worked.

Goddamn technology.

Try right clicking the video renderer icon on the right of your taskbar (it can be the fdd icon, or a green arrow, or the blue ball, depending on what video renderer you're using) and search around for subtitle options.
