why is it with nearly all the games on this site i only need to download one part for the whole game to be successfully installed? whats the point of posting 14 parts when i only need one to play the whole game through? is it just me or whats going on?

what's the point when you can't even download the game. Megaupload/Mediafire/Rapidshare has a LIMIT on how big people can upload.

MEgaupload has a maximum of 700Mb for free users, any bigger than that and you're toast.

Mediafire has limited their files to only 100mb.

Rapidshare similar like megaupload.

and just a FYI, uploading in parts is COMMON in upload sites.

I believe it's 200Mb... or did they just recently change that?

well, either if it's 200mb or 100mb, it's still a limitation. :P

Are you saying that you only need to download Part.1 of a game that's been split into, let's say, 15 parts to be able to play it? or am I missing something here?

i think that's impossible,there's no way to download only a 100 MB from a 1,5 GB game ,and actually to be able to install and play it

It's probably just him being bad with computers, when i unpack games i don't really touch any other files then part1 so i could understand how *cough* stupid *cough* people could make that misunderstanding.

Ah, so he's talking about when he's already downloaded all the parts and just un-rar everything using Part.1 lawlz..

It's done automatically d00d, even though your just using Part.1 if you ain't got all the other parts you can't extract shit.

Haha. I know how he felt when I was also a n00b when it came to extracting part files. When i thought I would need to excract ALL the files, I was like "...oh shit." But when I learned that I was unraring the same files over and over (imagine doing that to ALL 13 PART FILES!) I went. "WTF?! I ONLY NEEDED TO UNRAR 1 FILE!?!@#$"

basically what i mean is i downloaded princess waltz, every single one of the 7 parts had the same iso file in it, same size and everything, the same with tears to tiara and sengoku rance. in reality to play the game i only needed one part and then the crack, a little irritating when it takes so damn long to download them. with kira kira it was even weirder, parts 2 and 3 had part 1 but split into 2 bits.

That's what you get for downloading DDL links that is Split for functionality with the upload sites. it's not Weird, It's COMMON

and like I said DDL links will always have parts, if the game is bigger than 500mb, Be grateful that we uploaders split the files, otherwise you won't be even able to donwload it anyawy.

Go for torrents if you don't like the idea of splitting it into parts.

No they do not! Your unrar/unzip program just shows you what the collection of the parts will give you. The individual files does not infact contain what you see in your program
