How about sub-sections?

I mostly pay attention to the hentai part of this site so i was wondering if this would help?.

Add Sub sections within the sections

For example
Manga and Doujinishi
-Anime
-Naruto
Also in the M&D
-Manga
-Berserk
(apperantly there are a lot of ppl posting non-hentai stuff in the hentai vids and manga section)
Then
-Hentai
-Different types. + a include all section.
Eroge and Visuall novels
- Eroge
- VN
- Doujin soft

Its basically the same as your main part of fakku away from the forums, but its easier since it makes the whole place a bit more organized so that everyone can find what they want faster.

The reason i suggest this is because the vn/eroge/ds place is really hard to find games that aren't the click(x1000) and watch a pic. The manga section would be useful if it wasn't flooded. The search button is useful, but only up to a point.

There are stickied topics that sort these issues out. Also, why do we need a Naruto section?

Like Shiori said, we have sticked topics that help alot. For example, in the VN user uploads section, theres this https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=10302 which helps a lot to look for the games you want. And yes, why would we need a naruto section? T_T"

There's already an amine section, a manga section a hentai section.

There's no need for a Naruto section there's a thread for that. How many threads do you think Berserk would spawn exactly?

So I think it's obvious that I think this is a bad idea, because if you make to many sub forums then it would become tedious switching between threads.

Also master lists help order things.

Why would we differenciate the original doujins and the normal doujins(from any series) into seperate sub-sections? Isn't it better all together? I think so.

Ok look. the naruto thing was an example. And before that would be anime as differentiat to originals.

Look. The stickies really don't do it for me. The doujinishi's don't even have one.
Look, a list of all the Ero,VN, and DS is a great idea, but if i don't know which title is what, then i got to go to every thread and find out which one is it.

The manga(hentai) section is a mess. There are so many threads on different manga type that its pretty hard to tell what your gonna get. A lot of ppl name it "my hentai collection" or w/e. What i'm suggesting would be a sticky, sort of thing. It wouldn't be just a list, it would be an actual subsection that you could upload into.

What you're proposing (I don't know if you notice it), is a MASSIVE pile of work.

Look (no pun intended), people make threads on the doujin section with doujins they themselves collected, and they themselves uploaded. And they are willing to share it with all of us annonymous leechers. And many of them even put in several mirrors, and put thumbnail pictures! That takes a crapload of time. And asking them to upload every "kind" of doujin into seperate threads is just asking too much. And even now if you wanted to organize the ones already posted, you would have to check every single doujinshi uploaded and reorganize it to their respective category. It's just too much to happen.

But! A "solution" for that would be the tag system. And Jacob is (suposedly) going to implement it on Fakku's doujins (not the user uploads' ones). Hopefully that will happen soon enough.

Oh one more thing. Some people DO tag their stuff. Like Vinsin, and Captain Falcon and more recently Rbz. You just have to search more. :)

They normally list what kind of doujin it is within the thread, why not do a search for that genre using advanced search and limiting it to user upload forum?

I for one hate when there are too many sub-forums.

O.o i don't know about the search button. I've typed various things and gotten completely unrelated threads.

And its not a pile of work. It won't be mandatory. All it is is opening up a new subsection so that ppl can put stuff there to have a lil more organization instead of the whole place having the threads constantly bumped due to commments.

It wouldn't cause any more looking for people because they could upload it to the main section anyway. The search button would still work, and it would still be the same forum you guys are used to with a lil more organization.

Okay, the sticky has a master list of every topic. You go to the list, press CTRL-F, and then type in the name of the topic that you're looking for. That is basically what you are saying by having a sticky with a subsection. We already have that.

Look i know its hard to grasp, but what i'm proposing IS NOT a giant list of w/e section they are in. A giant list is great, but its not as effective as what i proposed.

The tag idea would also work for this. If people actually would put tags.
