I made two topics of curiosity about hosting on the fakku. I hope that the administration has nothing against ;)

I am gonna interpret your question as:
Should filehosts from the list of "banned" hosts be unbanned?
My take is that the ones that give decent speed should be allowed, while all those which suck shit should remain/be banned. Wouldn't vote though.

Decent speed, no stupid time waiting accumulation, has probably more than 1 gb Cap for uploads. And a User friendly file organizing feature.
Don't care about points or moneymaking, My MU points is only 1300 and that number never changed since 2 years a go..
the only thing that I want is "hosting files that can deliver quality uploading, downloading and community"
Bad hosting sites should remain banned.

Well, the sites were banned because of reasons.
As long as the reasons still exist .. then i didn't see any point to unban it.

Enough MU points = longer premium membership = Win.

Please don't make a new poll.
There is already a reason the hosts are banned.

Umm. They suck. But more if I remember correctly is that they make money for how many times they are downloaded and that is not what fakku is about.

If it was a reason why other hosting such as Megaupload and Uploading.com did not get a ban?
If such would be the reason, then on the list of allowed hosting should be only rapidshare and mediafire. ^^

Ironically it's only you who thinks that Megaupload is bad.
(numbers are imaginary )
90% of all uploaders in fakku uses Megaupload, because they think it's good hosting site. What do you think fakku upload section will become if those 90% is gone?
Klown has already stated he only uses MU, and he's like 60% of the VN upload section.
Girlcelly only uses MU in fakku only now, he still obeys Fakku's rule by not posting his hotfile links and depositefile links in here. and he doesn't even complain.
And the rest of us uploaders majorly uses MU and/or mediafire, because most of us thinks those 2 are good host sites, and also we obey the rules.
It has been proven that those banned sites do more harm and irritation then delivering quality downloads, so basically we banned them, because it's not matching up to fakku standards and idealism.
The problem here lies with you, who is pushing your personal opinion too far. The community says no is a no.
You are free to leave.
From an economic point of view "You don't have a market here." and "There's no Demand for your links."
You're better off leaving fakku, and find other potential Market in other websites that accepts those banned hosting sites.

Tl;dr
Adjust or leave

I Did only say "if" I could be wrong. I only said what I remembered which could be wrong. Would not surprise me if I was.
And on uploading.com and megaupload. They may be sites where you get points/or whatever when people download your stuff. But I believe, I am right in saying they are not on the banned list cause they do not have a cool down period between downloads. All there is between downloads, is the amount of time to download the current file, and then the small timer before the download. Yes they do have limits on how much you can download before a cool down type thing happens. But this limit is set quite high. There are not many files that would have to be split up (So they can be uploaded) that exceed the total download limit.

@Kaimax
I did not say that megaupload is bad.
As for me, MU is for me slow - download and upload.
My speed - upload = 32 - 64 KB/s which is why I often use remote upload (for larger files) - Mediafire and MU have no remote...
@HIM520
I agree, as to some hosting.
eg turbobit download speed is poor...
Rapidshare similarly + download limits...
As for sharecash.org, depositfiles.com - I do not know - I do not use.
Mediafire have file size limits.
But eg filesonic and fileserve, download speed is (for me - free user) good. I have 160 - 280 KB/s. Filesonic have file size limits too (400 MB for free users), but fileserve have no limits ^^.
I used to use only the rapidshare, but since there is not even a point for which I can not have a premium - I stopped.
I was not doing this for profit, because I did not even give anything in return, only the points for premium - I uploaded there only anime for my forum (from fans for fans ^^).

And for me at least if it is a good day. I get about 170KB/s+. If not a good day then anywhere between 110-125KB/s. And truthfully I do not know what a "remote upload" does, but I will assume it uploads things for you. Which with mediafire they have that upload window. Which you choose all the files you want to upload and it uploads them for you. Is it really that difficult to take the time and choose the files you want to upload that way.
I mean as an example I had a thread which for the last update to it I made a 3GB in total upload. Yes this was spread out over mutiple files by I still uploaded them at the same time.

Yes, Mediafire does have a 200MB file size limit. However which would you rather do.
Choose a file host that has a bigger upload limit making it so you don't have to split the file as much, But everybody on the site does not like to download from cause of download limits.
OR
Choose a file host that everybody on the site likes, but you have a samller upload limit.
Personally I would choose the later. Even if I did not like the file host. I would not do the other cause it is easier for me to use. I would want to appeal to the people who will be downloading the file.

See again Convenient for you. In truth I have nothing but problems with Filesonic and Fileserve. For me it is an extremely good day if I get 50KB/s or more. Normally around 36KB/s. And I have a fast internet connection IMO. My internet is being spread out over 4 computers (2 by wirless signal) And I can still download a 150MB file from mediafire in like 8 minutes. If I tried that with filesonic it would take almost an hour if not longer.

When I discouraged the use of hotfile a year ago, it is because I received reports that some users were uploading with the sole motive of making money, instead of wanting to share sincerely.
In the ideal world, uploaders would be sharing their material sincerely and generously, while downloaders will be able to obtain decent speeds without long waiting time, etc. Unfortunately, that is not the case. How can we determine if an uploader is sincere about sharing his/her hentai material? What happens if one really has problems uploading to a particular hosting site, just as downloaders may have problems accessing certain hosting sites?
I have been thinking about this problem for a while, ever since the "hosting site" issue cropped up again. The only alternative I can think of right now is as follows:
- Instead of categorizing the hosting sites into "Recommended" and "Banned", how about "Recommended" and "Discouraged"?
- However, uploaders who choose to use the hosting sites falling under the "discouraged" category must provide a mirror using a site from the "recommended" category
Yes, I know it is not a brillant idea, but that is all I can come up with right now.
Perhaps, with some discussion, we can work out a solution that benefits everyone. I wouldn't like to see members turned away from Fakku for the wrong reasons, but neither would I like to see members tricked into helping unscrupulous users earn money.

I saw this solution on a few forums.
Only now the question ...
What are the categories you assign to the recommended hosting and Discouraged?
btw. you have here my second poll about hostings:

I've been pushing this suggestion for a while, but it does not prevent some of them from spamming those "discouraged" sites without posting the MU links.
Girlcelly is one of those who obeys the rules closely, he always included a MU link besides his depostifiles and rapidshares.
The only way to block those who I call "Uncaring Link droppers" is a Ban on those sites.
so, if you want your sites to be unbanned
1. You have to make sure those "Uncaring Link Droppers" won't come.
2. You must always have a mirror from either Megaupload or Mediafire.
