Is hosting from the list of "banned" hosts should be unbans?

That isn't really a good reason for banning a host. Speed, accessibility, and assuming the host doesn't remove the file should be the determining factor for whether or not you ban a host.

Yeah, I would say its fine for people to make money off their links. I mean obviously it is on point content and what not and people need to want it and download it to make any cash off of it.

Sharesites should only be banned if they are extremely slow/drop downloads have malicious code involved or don't work.

Uploadstation is a bad hosting site. I only got 15-25 kbps after 5 minutes
Uploading Store not bad. I got 80 kbps from the start, and then 120 after a while. BUT waiting time is pretty ridiculous. 2nd download 3 minutes, 3rd download 6 hours.

The main problem in here is Profit making not the quality of the hosting site.
USers who uses this "profit making sites", usually spams and worst of it doesn't care and will not listen to the mods or admins. Proven by past user tymek, and why the whole hosting sites banning issue started.

It's won't be a problem if they decided to use megaupload or mediafire. But usually they won't listen.

Some decent hosts do give out money depending on the amount of downloads you get. Fileserve for example gives out fantastic pay for each download especially for the amount of traffic fakku gets. Now the site also gives out decent speeds. I have never dropped below 600KB/s on their site and have heard almost no complaints speed wise from other users. I have also never heard of a single file being taken down off of this site but because it makes money it should be on the ban list? I think that is rather silly. Not to mention the site has a variety of other features which makes it great for uploaders.

I personally don't like to use MU because it varies in speed rather often. While my connection can get maxed out on Megaupload from time to time it normally ends up dropping at some point making the overall download take longer rather than fileserves consistent 600KB/s.

If what Kaimax says is true then Uploadstation and uploadingstore should be banned due to their ridiculous need to fuck the downloader in the ass with massive wait times and pathetic slow speed.

For the record, I have not personally touched any of the money ive made off of fileserve. I have given it away to people unrelated to the subbing/uploading process.

Don't get me wrong, im not gonna argue against a host if the majority of the forum wants to use it and the money made by the uploader is used to continue contribute content to the site, since that's pretty much what im doing with my MU points.

There is almost no way to prove what people use that money for may I remind you but either way as long as it overall benefits the leecher I guess it should not matter.

As true as this is i severely doubt that this guy is gonna use his money to grace us with more stuff unless he runs out of money, and going by what Kaimax said, a top DL speed of 120kb/s and a 6 hour wait is something i doubt teh leechers is gonna go yay about. Which is probably why they've already showered him with -rep's.

Really wish people would only use Mediafire or Megaupload.

The banned sites are banned for a reason.
