and i still think the definiton of spam to be confusing coz' sometimes there's no need to post something other than the main point like LoL or a smiley (i don't consider that as spam)
It works somewhat like this.
Say Person A makes a post, and B responds.
A's post contains a humorous picture or joke. Therefore, it would be acceptable for B to answer with a :lol: , a "lol", or somesuch short and pointless shit.
Let's say, on the other hand, C makes a topic in Serious Discussion about Rape, and D posts something akin to "Lol, rape". D would, then, be spamming. Not to mention a dick.

Like I mentioned in the past, I am glad that a number of users are enjoying the MoteMote battle. Your uploaded images make each individual thread all the more interesting, but I would suggest placing a number of images in one post, perhaps using the spoilers too, instead of posting a single pic each time round. I could be wrong as your style of posting may have changed since you first started out. :)
Just my personal opinion on the matter.

is that kind of post you're mentioning (spoiler and many pic on one post)
