Issue with deleted PMs

I've been poking with the PM system a bit... and first of all, I must say I like the threaded PM system a lot. The reasons should be obvious, so yeah, I won't go into that.
But what bugs me is that weird things seem to happen when PMs are deleted. I can't access the whole thread, and I get this.

Both sides can't access the thread regardless of who's deleting it. And that's a prob, because one side might still need the info in the PMs. So yeah, is there a way to make it so that when someone delete a PM, the whole thing is still available to the other side?

your mouse pointer looks ridiculous.sure, but that's unrelated with this. go make an IB thread about my mouse pointer or something.

Just not delete PMs?
That's a simple way to get around it, but it's not like one can prevent the other from deleting the PM. And that's the main issue here; if one deletes a PM it's deleted from the other's inbox as well. Or the whole PM thread, actually.

the ability to delete a sent pm (before it's seen) has always existed, even before the re-scripting.

I believe I know what mibuchiha is talking about. The following would be the reply I posted in the "Enemy bugs and Boss bugs" thread:
Although we can see the replies in a forum format, the PM under the Received Messages section can no longer be accessed if the previous post is deleted from the Sent Messages (Read) section.
1 - Opening PM by User A
2 - Reply from User B
3 - Reply from User A
If Number 1 is deleted from User A's "Sent Messages (Read)", then Number 2 cannot be accessed. The following would appear: Undefined offset: 0
Again, I am not sure if this has been brought up or if anyone understands what I am talking about.

Ah yes, that's exactly it. But I think it don't have to be 1 deleted actually. Delete any PM in the thread and the whole thread will be inaccessible. The undefined thing will appear when you try to open other PMs in the thread.

I did peform a simple test previously.
Assuming I am User B in the above scenario, if I were to delete my own sent message, the PMs from User A can still be read, just that it appears like a double post.

Now that's strange. How come I got different result when I do the same test?

Yep, repeated the test again and I still get the same result. It doesn't matter whether I delete the PM I sent or received, the whole thread will still be inaccessible by both sides.
So yeah, I'd like to request something like this.
For the deleter:
- The thread is still accessible, but without the PMs he deleted. If he wants the whole thread to disappear, then he has to delete everything in the thread, what he sent and received.
For the other end:
- He doesn't delete anything, so everything is still there as is for him.
This is for read PMs only. For unread PMs, I think it's better if we can delete it before it's read. Ofc it's better if the ghost PM bug is dealt with quickly. ^_^

This just happened to me too. Old posts were deleted by the other person and now none of them, including the new one are accessible. :/
Edit: I deleted the one I couldn't read because of the offset error and now it constantly says I have one new message.

Now this is interesting.I was poking with my inbox again... and when I tried to open one of the PMs (the one that gave me the undefined error I think) I got a window full of intelligible crap. Well, maybe it has something to do with codes etc... but yeah.
Can I interpret this as the issue is being worked on? xD
