make a separate fourms for downloading doujins and manga

I like hentei, but sometimes I want to download a certain manga, sorta like how sometimes I want to download non-h anime. The problem is that when I do to the doujinini and manga fourms I see 100% hentei and I can't find the manga series I want to download.

Can you make a separate fourm for both? I have some things to contribute and I'm sure others do too.

There are already a million non-h manga download/ online reader sites. I don't really see the point of uploading any of it here. Fakku does host a few ecchi themed manga titles. But visiting to a hentai site to download Naruto and the likes... lolololololololol

But the point is that it would be good for the site to have a separate board for each so that we can have our own place to post and share what we have. It's about improving the community and it would be easy to implement.

Why would you want something SFW from a site that focuses on Hentai?

FAkku should never focus on something else than Hentai.

He meant that a separate sub-section of User Uploads for non-hentai manga.

Fakku itself is a hentai website, but User Uploads aren't. That's why we have the Anime section. Your "never" is a little strong, since we do have it, and a lot of people enjoy some of the non-hentai doujins.

But I don't think this would be the place for something like this. People already know how and where to get their non-hentai fix. Fakku doesn't need a section like this.

perhaps leading a user to a place to find what he's looking for might be appropriate then, as far as I can tell he's looking on fakku for something we dont have much of.

Perhaps it would help if people labeled manga in the user uploads as "Non-H" in the thread title? Manga is already a sub-section, so it would be odd having a subsection within a subsection.

But I disagree that Fakku is not a place to for non ecchi Manga. There are non-H VN links, there should also be non-H mangas. Perhaps more interesting to consider is that there is a "Anime" section for regular anime, then a "Video" section where the majority of threads are Hentai. Wouldn't this be the same thing?

The problem is he's request pretty much sounds like he wants us to upload mainstream manga, rather than Ecchi non-H manga specifically.

Of course if the amount of non-H doujin and Manga are at least 50% the size of the H-one, AND we have someone dedicated to uploading them, we can consider making that section.

But for now that's not an important priority.

Let's keep our focus on one subject.

Because there's no use upon "copying" those sites.

Given that we already have the following subsections under Uploads, namely that of Anime, Music and Soundtracks, Torrents and Others, I don't think it will be difficult to create a Non-Hentai Manga subsection.

However, creating such a subsection isn't my main concern. I foresee that a Non-Hentai Manga subsection will be extremely popular; managing it may not be easy. Various members may upload different chapters of a manga title and for the extremely long series, it will be difficult to keep track of them.

Most importantly, we may be attracting unwanted attention to Fakku. Remember the incident where a number of manga sites had to comply with the requests of publishers to remove certain titles? The same could happen to Fakku.

At the moment, for the users who really wish to contribute non-hentai manga material, feel free to do so in the Manga and Doujinshi (Uploads) section. Placing a tag such as [Non-Hentai] in the title of your thread would suffice, just as Neko-chan has suggested.

gambler is correct in saying uploading manga which has been licensed in America would present issues which could harm fakku. Unlicensed is another story.

Unlicensed manga might be ok, but I think Fakku is better off serving primarily as it has, a hentai doujin site. It's what the people who attend fakku know it for and changing that large part of it would be somewhat silly.

The only thing I could see being a good idea, besides the occasional unlicensed manga, would be maybe non-hentai doujins? There are some pretty decent ones out there, I think I've come across some To Aru ones that were very interesting to read as well as some Evangelion ones.

But yeah, the main focus of Fakku would probably be best remaining on h-manga. Mostly because that's what the site is known for, and partly because that would attract the least amount of unwanted attention otherwise.

Of course any of those changes should be left up to Jacob as it is his site.

I understand that it would be bad if Fakku was targeted ala One Manga, but the same could be said of VN section. It isn't Fakku hosting the VN (or manga in this case), it is a forum where users provide links. I hate to sound antagonistic, but making a subsection wouldn't make non-H manga any more a focus of Fakku than having a user's VN upload or Music section make Visual Novels be a focus of Fakku or Music be a focus of Fakku.

However, I do agree with Gambler that it could become as unwieldy as the Video Section can become.

Regarding the 'manga and doujinshi' subsection of the user uploads...I always thought of it as 'hentai manga and doujinshi'. I'm sure there are members in the FAKKU community who have unlicensed manga on some hard drive. As several people have said earlier, this isn't the place for it though. The anime section was made as an attempt to declutter the video section, though I suppose if enough people start uploading regular manga to FAKKU then a separate manga section would make sense.

It's nowhere near that point as far as I can tell, and there are plenty of places to get your manga fix. Looking for anime/manga on FAKKU is like walking into victoria's secrets to buy I don't know...batteries. They might have them, but why are you looking for them there?

Of course I write this post the day I upload a short anime series to the site. I'm such a hypocrite. For shame.
