Manga pages do not show

There seems to be a bug with the manga section. None of the pages for the mangas show up. I've tried 4 different mangas, recent and ones from a few days ago. The thumbnails show up fine, but the pages themselves don't.

Someone else left a comment about the pages not showing up in one of the mangas so I assume its not just me.
Running Windows Vista, Firefox 3.5.3

We are aware of the problem and we are currently investigating the origin of the problem.

a DDoS attack is an organized attack against a computer that involves several other computers (usually hundreds)
What it pretty much does is ping the IP so much so often with so many computers that the server/computer is simply not able to take the work load and just dumps all information, or crashes.

In the case of dumping it would just ignore everything that requires loading something big e.g. pic.
And a crash is simply a crash.

DDoS attacks are prohibited and can if traced back be taken to court.

It should be solved. It was a OS glitch. It's been patched and we will find a way it doesn't repeat the same problem again.

And as for ouch I don't know what the problem is but it seems to happen with newly added doujins. Easy solution just dl it rather than read it online :roll:.

It's only the new mangas that Jacob uploaded the other day. Until he reuploads either download them or wait until they are reuploaded. I can't really do it since my 100kbps up would take almost a day.

Also as I said it's an OS glitch anyway.

maaaan these things need to happen more in the day and less in the night when i really need fakku the most.

Not to mention, not all DoS attacks keep a site unusable, often times they merely cause such strain on the server parts of the site become inoperable, even after the attack is complete, until a sysadmin handles it.
You should read up on DoS, as it comes in many forms, and not all of them are as heavy as the worst case scenario.

You know what takes time? Loading each page at a time (viewing online). Downloading takes only a little (depends on how fast your internets are. But viewing online also depends on it so) and then you can view the whole doujin without load times.

But do as you please. I prefer downloading (same for mangas. I don't like to watch them online).
