Manga trouble (viewonline for no-js browsers)

Ever since the return of Fakku to the online world every time i select a manga it opens and starts to load and dosent load even after 20 minutes

Do you have javascript disabled? The new viewonline page uses ajax and requires javascript.

That could be the case, Or I have figured out why I chose to click the wrong browser and that lead to my problem *Facepalm*

You guys are all using Internet Explorer, right? If so, the bug has been found and fixed. If not, what browser (including version) are you using?

Firefox 3.6.12 with the add-on adblockplus prevents images from loading (+ image resize and spoilers don't work)

Which rule lists are you subscribed to? Just EasyList, or others?

Alternatively, you can whitelist www.fakku.net and ajax.googleapis.com and that should fix the issue.

Yea, if I disable adblockplus, everything works fine.

You shouldn't need to disable it entirely; you can write an exception to have it let the scripts you want through. Check the docs. Basically, you just need to throw in one additional rule:

@@|https://www.fakku.net

That'll whitelist Fakku and make the viewonline work without having to turn off Adblock+ altogether.

Hi, iv had the same problem as all of you and for the time being i have found that disabling the block application in the bottom right of your web brwoser next to the magnifying glass solves the problem, well it does for me but give it a go

Im also getting stuck on 'loading!!' since the return of Fakku, PS3 browser.

It used to work great although pressing left and right on the dpad to change manga page broke a few months ago.
Please fix if you can, theres nothing like 40+ inches of glory lol

For platforms that don't support javascript, you can (temporarily) use viewonline.old.php (just put the .old into the URL). We're gonna switch it to automatically redirect to there if your platform doesn't have javascript at some point.

Thanks for that, I can view manga again! The PS3 does support some Javascript but it is a bit limited, Im guessing thats also the reason behind spoilers in the forum not showing well anymore.
