Mobile Fakku?
-2
I gonna admit it. Recently fakku have been so famous and is fill with alot of other things that i get a impression the whole web is slowing down.
Example:
2 year ago i can use the psp to load doujin from fakku at about 10 second per page. Now? It takes 1 minute to load 1 page. Not to mention the psp now failed to scale the picture so i get a extreme big pic or i scale it to a mini pic.(last time the scale fit is ajustable to screen width) Manga loading has also slow down when i use computer(able to open multiple web page screening last time, curently only maximum two page)
So i wish to ask: Do anybody think that Jacob can make a Mobile Fakku? Or a exclusive to manga only fakku(image to be scale fit to portable device like iphone or psp)...I think that might just smooth the loading for picture/manga.
*note that i experiment on this on different place, device and ports so it is not a connection problem

Actually, the resizing and scaling is the PSP browser's fault. With various updates to make it work with more popular social networking sites, they had to change various functionalities, altering how it views the web.
I can browse Fakku just fine on my Samsung Reclaim.
Use Opera Mini, it's pretty much fully compatible with the site.

As Jacob said, Fakku pays for servers. If you want faster connection, faster downloads, faster loading etc... Donate to Fakku.

The browser will update it's engine automatically when you connect to the internet.
I also have a PSP, but with Opera Mini installed. Here's a guide.

While I, as a (not yet modded) PlayStation Portable owner, do agree with the idea of a mobile-optimized version of Fakku, I believe there are some points to consider:
First, the PSP's low RAM (only 8 megs) means it cannot display pages that are too large. This, unfortunately, includes pages from most, if not all doujins posted on this site.
This issue can be resolved (to a certain degree) by turning on the "conserve memory" option. This lowers the quality of the images on the page, but not the resolution, so the pages are often blurred to the point of unreadability.
The above issue can, again, be resolved (again, to a certain degree) by switching to "Just-Fit" or "Smart-Fit", which should, in theory, shrink all images to fit the width of your screen, eliminating the need for lateral scrolling ,as well as shrinking the pages so that the drop in quality is unnoticeable. However, something about the site causes the doujin pages to instead shrink to somewhere between 1/3 and 1/6 of the screen's width, again making them unreadable.
These are all the problems I encountered browsing this site on the PSP and they can all be traced back to the doujins hosted here being too High-Quality (I can't believe I actually said that O.o).
In conclusion, creating a mobile version of Fakku might be a bit too overkill (considering all the work that would go into it). Instead, I would prefer an alternate solution, namely adding a "View Online (Low-res)" button. Presuming, of course, it doesn't clash with the PSP's limited JavaScript/Flash capabilities (since I don't believe it would be feasible to upload two copy of the same doujin), but I'd say it's worth a try.
