Pages in Incoherent Babbling

I think only 2 pages is a little too harsh...

Why not make it about 10 pages?

Haha. I don't know. Absolutely dumb and pointless as it is smart and useful.

To get the old pages, I use some link and open the last post of the users...

EDIT : I also change the "20" number in the address bar...

Personally I think it's the dumbest thing ever done on this site. The point of the forums is communication, making it more difficult invalidates the point of making the forums in the first place. If it's a joke I find it to be a very poor one and if it's not....well I'd find that even more sad that the joke option. Either way a bad decision for many obvious reasons.

Dumbest? No. And it also doesn't limit communication. But I think it's pointless to limit it to two pages if the rest of the threads still are easily accessible. I mean, the purpose of limiting the pages was to get people more active in other sections, right?

I see it as a good thing personally. The older threads can still be found, but it's unlikely that people will take the trouble to revive them.

Well, there are more than 2 pages of topics that were replied in while I'm gone (usually 4-8 hours). I think we need a bit more room. Maybe 3-4 pages.

How does it not limit communication? It's like having 5 people talking to me in one hour but somehow only having the ability to notice 2 of them. (This is not really the best analogy but whatever.) I'm 90% certain that there have been entire threads in the last few days that I haven't even noticed, possibly ones I might have been interested in more than "You lose game", "Why yous all pedos?", or "this response to thing" threads.

I agree with this. We need enough space to contain all the topics that changed in at least 24 hours.

It more like 5 people having conversations with other people and the conversation ends before you arrive. But even that's not a good analogy. You can still access the threads. If one doesn't want to put in that very minute amount of effort to see them, then apparently there wasn't much interest to begin with.


Join the club. I wonder how many threads I might be interested in that I have completely ignored.

Once again, I am late to the party, but what I am concerned about is whether the limit on the pages in "incoherent babblings" will affect the number of threads started in "random".

Perhaps I am being overly worried, but if some members think that their thread will be bumped off easily under "incoherent babblings", then they may choose to start one in "random", lowering the quality of discussion in the latter section.

I will try and observe the situation in random...

IB sucks with only 2 pages imo, you should of made it like 10 or something since now all the damn threads I missed while I was gone I'll never get to see. =/
