Permission To Edit this Information

Well ok I'm going to at least ask because it is important to me it’s the reason I created an account in the first place. So I was looking down the descriptions for the manga and saw one was edited, amazed I immediately jumped to edit a manga, and got the new “You do not have permission to edit this information page.”

I tested to see if it was because of who translated it it’s not.

So there are two possibilities left that I don’t have enough rep if someone with more could try we could eliminate this possibility.

or that now manga editing is restricted to only “approved users”.

If the ladder is the case may I ask for that approval? the majority of the manga don’t have descriptions and I would like to add as small contribution to the community in this manner.

I'm not exactly sure on this and I can't remember what thread I saw it in but I think it has to do with the fact you don't have enough rep. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me but I think a user must have at least 30 rep before they are allowed to edit a manga's information. As of this post, I see that you have 22 rep.

This was actually a broken feature for a long time, but jake recently fixed it. He gave only admins permissions as of now, he has stated that it will change soon, though.

TMS is correct. I finally fixed this yesterday and it is currently locked to admins. Send me a PM though, after you read this, saying "Hey, give me permission to edit manga". That way tomorrow when I wake up I will read the PM and be reminded.

thats good the lack of descriptions was rather annoying when look for something with a good plot.

Jacob? I hate to bump this and know that you've been busy, but it's been over a week and no reply from my pm. While I understand if you decide not to give me this ability, it’s the fact of no reply that makes me wonder if you got it or forgot.
