PS3+F!=FAIL!

Yeah so as the title states I cant view Fakku via PS3. I don't think theirs anything wrong with my Playstation. I didnt have any problems until Fakku went down for about a week & know everytime I get on a get a series of punctuation marks & other symbols. Is anybody else having this problem?

EDIT: In all seriousness, it's because we turned on gzip compression to save bandwidth. For some reason, the PS3 browser tells the server it supports the compression, then doesn't actually decompress the data before displaying it. It's a bug in their browser. Fixing it on the server's kind of a pain in the ass, but I'll look into it.

EDIT2: Okay, try it now. I reconfigured Varnish to pass requests from "PLAYSTATION 3" user-agents through to Nginx, and reconfigured Nginx to not gzip responses back to "PLAYSTATION 3" browsers. Might still be some weirdness somewhere but I'm hoping that'll do the trick.

yeah samething here. i can see everything fine but the only problem is when viewing manga. like the fakku page will just say loading while the browser is done loading before the site crashed everything worked fine. hopefully it's fixed soon

Ah, yeah, the PS3 POS browser probably doesn't support javascript. I'll hijack in a redirect to point that user-agent back at some fallback code, gimmeh a sec.

EDIT: Okay, it should now kick the PS3 browser over to a failover non-javascript version of the page.
