Been there done that.
It's now rejected because people will abuse the rating.
Guess how people who hate NTR will rate the NTR mangas? lol
Even though the story and art is "interesting" and good.

Hello there I'm new here.
The dilemna with the ratings system seems to be that people who don't like NTR would give it bad ratings. But the people who want a ratings system would like it because it would give them new options and maybe even new favorites.
Why not do something with comments? Their like mini recommendations which help a person get a feel for the story or art. That way it could outrule the "its just not my cup of tea" and give you actual information. Actually your already there with comments since you already have the like or dislike comment option. The most liked/most helpful comment would get displayed in the little bar where description would be since I mostly find that place to be dead space for all of the time I've been here.
Of course I could just be incoherently babbling and have no idea what I'm talking about and the amount of work it would take could be huge or little. So take this with massive amounts of cheese.

Taste is relative. The only objective way to gauge user contentment is through faves or downloads, pretty much.

Why not set a post requirement for ratings, like around 200, just so the ratings won't be ruined by lurkers?
