Rep option disappearing / Rep log no longer functioning

For some reason my rep option keeps disappearing and I know for a fact that I didn't rep anyone. I've noticed this 2 days ago but I decided to give it the benefit of a doubt that maybe I did rep someone by mistake and wait till the next day. This morning I could see the +/- button but now it disappeared again and I didn't rep/de rep anyone at all. Is anyone else having the same problem?

That sucks. Hopefully the problem is fixed. I haven't taken note of it, but I have been accidentally +repping the wrong people... which is kinda fail -.- lol.

Come to think of it I still can’t rep and I'm mildly sure that I did it about 2-3 yesterday and now it's 8 confusing or maybe I just forgot.

I'm not sure about the others, but I find that the rep option doesn't automatically appear after 24 hours. And I know that because I memorized the time.

Another thing to note is that sometimes the rep log doesn't take notice of the latest +/- rep. I noticed today when I got 46, but there was no link to the post in the rep log. Possible bug?

I've noticed this, too. Also, the rep log is set up weird. Instead of being lined up according to time, it's like they're just thrown in there:

Yes I also noticed this too. The rep log seems to be shuffled in with the latest log in the line-up.

I think we're having the same problem Mr.Bushido. I know it's been at least 24 hours since I last repped someone but my option isn't there...

Hmmm I don't think the option would just randomly break for no reason, so I will assume that it is still counting the time till you can give/take reputation again.



As always I am still working on things and there are a lot of features that aren't finished, this is one of them. Eventually user profiles will be COMPLETELY different and allow for a lot of customization (eventually).

I didn't mention the problem before now because I didn't think it was that big of a problem. And I know that stuff is still being worked on.

So, profiles are going to be different? You're not going to make it like MySpace, are you, where people can fill their profiles with all a thousand pics and videos?

Don't you hate it when you have to click on a MySpace link for something and it auto starts some annoying pop music from some bad band that should have died out the moment it was formed? I sure do...

Yeah, that's part of why I stopped going to MySpace. That, and people's pages were actually making my browser crash due to a million pictures, videos, and other embedded crap.

We will finally be able to customize our profiles? Sounds good to me. FAKKU! has always lacked in that area. But I agree with others that embedded music and ridiculous amounts of pictures that pop up etc shouldn't be allowed to happen.

I'm not sure if customizing profiles is necessary. I mean, it still doesn't tell us what our rep is, which is strange in it of itself since there's a rep log but no rep count, and I don't want FAKKU turning to anything remotely like myspace. (We have a facebook account.)

Another thing to note is that I haven't notice anything weird about the order of the rep log, just that it sometimes misses out on the reppings.

Thats not weird? It's no big deal I didn't bring it up because it's so minor my first rep on the list has been stuck at may 8th since it started.

It is weird, but I was refering to ShaggyJebus's post where the order (date) of rep given/taken was in complete disarray. That's what I meant because I haven't encountered that yet.

Oh ok don't feel left out though its not that cool.

If some are still talking about profile customization I was thinking it would be cool to give us the option of adding in our own kind of style to our profiles using c++ coding.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. I didn't really think anything of it, but I thought maybe it was just a setting or something I had.
