Rep Points

I've seen a few people mentioning this, but I'm not sure if it's actually points or they're just saying thanks. :oops:
Could somebody clear that up, and tell me how to give rep points if they do exist?

You give rep, or take it away based on what you think of that person. Wheather it be they did a good/bad topic, or you just find them funny. They are your points to do whatever you wish with. But you only have one point a day. And to give them rep hit the + image in the posters av box (its at the bottome says rep: + # -) same as for giveing - rep.

You need 15 posts before you can see, give, or take away rep.

PS: -reping is kinda a dick move.

It serves its purpose but, I agree, -repping for no real reason is a dick move.

I agree and had I seen your signature in the "rate the signature" section I'd rate it as 10000000000000/10

Is there any way to see who has rep'd and neg'd you?

I'm think Jacob would know, seeing how he's in charge here and has all info on Fakku... or at least I assume he does.

And I think if we could tell who rep'd and neg'd us... it would result in conflict.

It's actually quite common on forums that people can see who rep'd/neg'd 'em, it's not realy a big deal.

I won't deny that there can be some fighting over neg's, but most don't care.

No. No-one can. Not going to be implemented unless you have breasts and Jacob on your side.

What does it mean when it says "This user has received +-1 reputation for this post."

Simple. He's been negative repped, and then positive repped. Or possibly vice versa. So that particular post would have altered his rep count by zero.

Hmmm since this is here and I don't see a particularly better thread to put this in I'll just do this here.

The feature that tells us which posts we got +/- rep is very nice. However it would be nicer if we could somehow tell which posts we were getting +/- rep without having to look through every post we've ever made and hope that people aren't altering ones where we got the opposite of what someone gave us. Something like an automated pm (maybe with the option to turn that feature off if people didn't like it) alerting you to which post got +/- rep or maybe just have the "show your posts" thing actually just show only your posts, not which threads you have posts in. Normally I wouldn't care but recently someone has been pulling Chuu style bs on me (for those of you who don't remember or weren't here for it, Chuu (go look him up) -repped Waar (if you missed him, I don't know how...) repeatedly for a very long time).
