Reputation, what is it exactly? What does that "Received +1 Reputation for #______" actually mean? How exactly does it affect your standing in the fakku community? Does it mean that your better than someone else, or that you can do things that others can't? Why does fakku even have reputation?
I've been visiting the fakku site for about two years now, and i've been a member for about three months now. Having said this i'm not sure if i'm asking question that are blatantly uneducated, or if i'm asking questions that others having been asking themselves, but havn't been able to find the answer to.
When I browse the internet, on my leisure time, the sites that I go to are not very deverse, on average I may go to five diffrent sites a week. Spending more than half of that time on Youtube, or another video streaming site such as Animefreak. That said I havn't seen very many websites that had a point system that was not directly or indirectly related to real world money. The only site that comes to mind that uses a point system not related to one's wallet is yahoo answers.
If your not familiar with the yahoo answers point system, then i'll give you a brief rundown. When you join you start off with 100 points, when you ask a question you lose 5 points. When you answer a question you gain 1 point, in addition if you give the best answer to a question then you are awarded 9 extra points. If you are intrested in more details click Here

So, what do I ask, does reputation actually do? Does reputation allow you to read some extra doujins? Does it allow you to change things on fakku? I've seen a few diffrent accounts that had reputations that were as low, and lower, and -30, and i've seen some that were as high, and higher, than +200. Does having a certain number of minus reputation cause you account to be banned or deleted? If you have any answers please notify me.
Thanks

No, it wont get you banned *unless members derep you cuz you're a troll, faggot, or plain idiotic and a flame baiter*
receiving rep means that other members appreciate what you did, and just to show how awesome your post was.. Kinda.
