Seeing other peoples rep

I don't like that fact other people can see my previous rep log. Can you implement a way to not show it on my profile or something?

Just feedback/a suggestion from me.

Because other people seeing where you got -rep and snickering to themselves quietly is just too much too handle?

or other people seeing where you got a -rep and fix it by +reping.

Happens to me sometimes and I appreciate that thank you.

Or seeing where you got +rep so they can drop a -rep, haha.

Personally, I'd like to see an option where we could disable rep of other people showing up at all, but that's just me.

That's what I was thinking. Believe me, no one cares about your rep, my rep, or anyone else's rep.

I meant an option, sort of like how you can hide your online status or turn of sigs.

I like it there. Just my opinion.

I can understand some users wanting to disabled. There has been a problem with users being negative repped repeatedly and for no clear reason. Then again, if a person wants to negative rep someone whenever possible, they could just bookmark a post of that person, so this feature might not be all that useful.

I would like to be able to see the whole rep log.

I take it you mean a members whole history and not the full information? I couldn't possibly think of a faster way to bring this site down then to give access to the full detail of the rep logs. People would be exacting revenge on people who ever -repped them and it would be complete chaos.

I'd like the option to disable the rep system in my profile set up. like view other user signitures. that way i can't see it or use it, but it's still there for those who want to keep it.

You have a point there. But thats one of the big problems with rep, people care to much about it.


@Kaimax. That's a good idea, you could have it so that you can only view +rep.
