Signature limit...

Can't we increase it a little bit into 270 maybe?

255 is plenty of room, Why do you even want more room? A signature is originally a spot simply to put a short piece of text to attach to the end of your posts.

Now it's expanded into being an image in place of that, but people go crazy with it and drop in like 4 images, some text, etc.. It's just too much.

I think one reason is because sometimes when you try to add at least 2 pics like a sig and a waifu sig and spoiler tag them and also have maybe a link or 2 that the 255 character limit isn't enough. I know one time I tried to add in a spoilered autoplaying vid in my sig one time but it was over the limit so I couldn't do it.

Yeah, like I said in the other topic, a small character limit really doesn't deter huge and annoying signatures, while having a small limit can be a real hassle when you are working with long BBCode.

Hmm, Well I think it's completely unnecessary to have multiple images in your signature, but I have an idea, I'll present to Jacob.

Basically not counting the bbcode in the signature, should solve most of your issues..

Can we limit vertical size to 500 pixels?

Actually, Jacob seems to agree that it is fine as it is, so probably will just be left alone most likely.

Well you can keep trying, however i don`t really see why we need to increase the limit (Exspecially by 15 Characters).

Well I think fifteen is a bit arbitrary. I was thinking closer to +300.

Just shorten the link by using a link shortener and it should fit that's how I got 3 in mine.
