Skin changer.

I am suggesting and requesting this. Fakku is uniques in it's colors. Honestly there are no other forums that I know of that are these particular colors. But the harsh white hurts my eyes after staring at it for a long period of time and I think a skin changer for different colors would be nice.
Basically the complete opposite of what the colors are now. The whites being black, the pink splash being either blue or lime green. The red being the forums being changed to Green also or Blue. If I were to give an example it would be this.
Of course this would only be a option. Just something that if someone like me didn't like staring at such harsh colors for a long time on a big monitor. It could be added to the tool bar as Fakku's skins or Fakku's themes. The default of course would be classic Fakku but like I said I would appreciate it and it would be a nice option. I know of at least one other person that agrees with me on this. Does anyone else think it would be nice to have? It would be much appreciated.

I liked the orange Dannychoo schematic from back then, but again, I think there are far more pressing issues/bugs/declined ideas to reconsider before moving onto customization. I for one would like to change color/skins.

Dear Sir,
a solution to your predicament exists. Behold, the "Stylish" (Terrible name, I know) extension for firefox.
By perusing that particular, fine piece of software, you may change the appearance of any given website upon a whim, including the exact changes you proposed for fakku.

gibbous you continue to surprise me with your good posts. This is exactly what I was going to say.
With the new design I purposely made all stylesheets external. So anyone can go and edit them at their will and make their own styles. There is almost nothing that is styled directly on the page, which means everything can be modified.
To see an example if you are using FireFox go to View -> Page Style -> No Style

I have downloaded and installed this program and I can tell you already that I hate it. I may be a little just annoyed with the fact that it lead me to a completely different page then went on about how to do it and the security risks that are involved. It seems really overly complicated and it immediately made me hate it.
None the less I figured it out. User created themes for sites and all that Jazz. Most are crap tho and I am not willing to make one myself nor would I know how. Plus the whole security thing was a no for me.
In short it's crap. Having a theme changer is much easier for people. A simple click to change the theme. Not to mention what about the people without FF? Are they just screwed if they have sensitive eyes? Plus it's not really a theme changer from what I've seen (which has been very little mind you). Like the sites icons and etc. Refer to the Code Geass themed Forum I posted. I had a very strong feeling that this would go down in flames but I am still hoping it can be done. I am in no rush by any means. It's just a nice feature to have.
The add on would have indeed solved my hurting eyes problem but if it means looking at something that is crappy and complicated with a security risk I will take the eye pain.
What I think would be badass is a Tomoyo themed Fakku. Blues and silvers. That would be just eye candy tho.

Well you don't have to use the addon. The main point of what I was trying to get across was that I personally will not be making more themes. Anyone is welcome to make themes on their own and post them on the site. If they are good themes and people like them, I could set up something where you can select it in your profile.

Dear Sir,
I just thought you might want an intermediate solution, sorry that you didn't find it to your liking.
To answer your question: yes, it really is a theme changer, and yes, the icons can be restyled, too, by replacing the icons from "/templates/alexis2/images/cicons.png" in the original css file with a custom set of icons of your preference in the new css file you feed to "stylish".
Making something like the screenshot you posted is a mere matter of copy-pasting the original style sheet for the forums, string-replacing the colors you wish to change and whipping up some icons that match your taste.
That point, however, has obviously become moot.

So I will have to see if a friend who actually knows what the hell is doing will give it a shot. Guess it is better then a refusal to changing the site at all. I was afraid you would say it would ruin the site originality or some other bull crap. Thanks for the info tho and I will hopefully be getting back to you on that.

You have completely lost me. That's okay tho cause I have no intention of learning.

If you have no intention of learning do not make a topic about changing the skin.

I don't remember asking how to change the skin. So why would I want to learn how? I said I was both suggesting and requesting this. That you would make a theme changer with themes in it like other sites have for their users. It was no big deal really in the beginning and if it means a lot of work like I said I can deal with it. It's not the most important thing. A theme changer isn't uncommon among sites but if you don't want to I can respect that. You have your reasons being they personal or just not wanting to. No offense and none taken.
