Small Bug in PM System

Hey,
forgive me if this has been mentioned before; I used the search function and it didn't come up with anything.
CURRENT BEHAVIOR:
When entering compose new private message mode, the WYSIWYG editor does not work. That is to say, "clicking" the "buttons" for formatting, the insertion of hyperlinks, embedding of images, et cetera, with your "mouse", has no effect.
The same buttons do, of course, work in the regular compose new post/compose new thread pages of the forum.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
"Clicking" the respective "buttons" for formatting, the embedding of images, et cetera, with your "mouse", has the desired effect of adding the respective tags to the message composition space.
PLATFORMS:
All browsers.
I'm well aware that this is a very, very low-profile bug, but figured it might be worth a quick fix at some point in the distant future. Please, forgive me if I was mistaken.

I love you. That format. Was delicious.
That "format" brought to you "courtesy" of THE IBM MAINTENANCE MANUAL.
Other fans of this format also enjoyed this self-inflatable house-boat brought to you courtesy of the principle of air reduction.

I agree gibbous, your topics are awesome. Since I am the only one able to fix the things you mention please don't stop posting about problems even if I don't reply. Because I read them all.

I have tested something and found an interesting loophole. While clicking said function won't work in the PM window, manually typing the command does.
If I wanted to bold something, I would manually type in: ____, and it does come out bold. For a list of more popular functions:
bold = b with brackets ending with [/b]
italic = i with brackets ending with [/i]
underline = u with brackets ending with [/u]
quote = quote="username" with brackets around it, ending with [/quote]
spoil = spoil with brackets ending with [/spoil]
youtube = [youtube]link[/youtube]

Pssst: If you just write out the tags the way you did, they won't show up, because they'll be parsed. In the future, use curly braces, like so {b}{i}{u}{s}{sup}{sub}{quote}{align=center} if you want to demonstrate BBcode use.Psssst2: You an also just use html straight away .
Lol, I didn't even realize my BBcode that I wrote in my previous post got screwed over... and I don't know html. I'm just saying that BBcode does work, and temporarily for those who want to use said functions, manually type in the code to get it to show.

Yeah, you can just use the tags, of course, but the point here is that the wysiwyg editor doesn't work, which is slightly more comfortable. Especially if you use a keyboard layout that requires three keystrokes to produce a square bracket ;]Pssst: If you just write out the tags the way you did, they won't show up, because they'll be parsed. Another thing about the PM system, though it may not exactly be a bug:
There's no "Quote" button. That was often what I used to reply back to people who PMed me. I would hit "Quote," and it was very easy to reply. As it is now, to reply, I have to go to the person's profile and click the PM button. Plus, when looking at the message, when I click the person's name (to go to their profile), it says "There was a problem loading the page. You might find help in the Feedback, Suggestions, and Support forum."
Not a big deal, but I figured I'd point it out. Hadn't seen it mentioned before.
