Something about Merging Threads

I asked a mod a couple of days ago to merge a few similar threads which I've encountered. He willingly did so and as I checked back, I noticed that the "topic images" of those threads which got assimilated into, overlapped those of their counterparts' original topic images.

That's particularly weird was that the image of the other thread could be just a mistake about the 2 image's moving, and the wrong one was put in it's place the left over could just be a stuck image that can't be changed after the threads been created.

That is odd if that wasn't a topic image for the other threads, otherwise it makes sense depending on the order of the splitting/merging.

Will look into it.

From my past experiences, I believe the topic image of the thread created at a later date will replace that of the original. Nonetheless, it is just speculation on my part.

If I do get to merge other topics, I will try to reverse the sequence of merging to see what happens.

I see, that makes sense too, regardless it may be worth correcting, like during the merge giving the mod the option of which topic image to apply, or something like that.
