First of all, M&G means Meet and Greet.
Heres my issue: It seems that certain users, mainly those who frequent the "Fakku Cafe" thread in the chat topics section, have been spamming M&G with links to the thread.
Im unsure whether this is against any of the Fakku rules or not, but I just wanted to make it known that this was happening.
Heres a few examples...

If you look below this post, youll see that another user who happens to frequent the cafe qouted the exact same thing!

Most of the idiots seem to find IB and Fakku Cafe pretty easily they seem to be able to get their without haste. I don't think it needs to be advertised what so ever. It is spam spam spam.

As much as I agree Cap it's probably not going to change any time soon. The idea is to keep people feeling welcomed, even if it's a repeat message from 50 other threads...

I wish people would stop complaining about this. It's the one acceptable spam for post count place there is. I would rather have people spamming and making people feel at least mildly not ignored when they show up then having those people spam random or other sections with complete idiocy.

I fail to see the issue. Why should anyone be bothered by how frequent and/or generic a member's greeting is? What is it to you? Their spamming in no way impacts you, and at they point when said spam does become a problem the staff will take care of it. Let them greet however they choose, whenever they choose.

I don't think Badass is complaining about people not putting any effort into their posts in M&G, but the fact that many posts are simply a link to the cafe thread, advertising it. It does seem cheap, telling newcomers to visit a specific chat thread. However, at the same time, it wouldn't feel cheap if people said to visit the IRC. Hmm.
