Waifu Section

I'm kinda tired of seeing 5 or 6 or more threads about Waifus when I go to IB (or Feedback for who knows what reason) since I don't give a fuck at all about it. Why don't you (Jacob) make a subsection for it like you did for Garfest? That way it's all in the same place for everyone who cares and out of the way for everyone who doesn't.

Though the excitement has finally settled down and there are two threads about it stickied I think its fine at the moment.

Gonna have to second this. Making a subsection would really help plus you know some ppl might end up making a thread for their waifus and giving the other users all their pics of her to fap to :D

I support this notion. I think the waifu stuff is Fakku's speciality, so it truly deserves a section.

I'm gonna have to play the devils advocate and disagree on this one. The game may be popular, but there is never more than a handful of threads, hardly worth its own sub-forum. It isn't a big deal to have to wade through a few waifu threads to get to everything else in IB. Jacob could better spend the time necessary to create the forum, and move the threads, on doing just about anything else.

Agreed.

A big difference between Garfest and Waifu game is that Garfest had support threads which contributed a lot to making new threads. Waifu game seems to spawn only a few threads and creating a whole section for a few threads doesn't really seem economic.

But despite what I said, I do think it would be nice to have all the past Waifu threads in one place so I can access the archives anytime without the hassle of looking through IB.

Just stick to the waifu chat thread and the primary topic people. Everything aside from 'rate above user's...' can easily be settled between them.

True. Notice that the chat thread is already at the bottom of page 1 IB? At least at the moment. Then again.....................

I disagree the week of the new round was like waifu thread city there were about 13 new waifu threads a day. Ok exaggeration, but I like Ramsus and others are tired of seeing like 6 threads about waifus cluttering up IB; that is already limited to 2 pages.

Also a waifu section would promote more discussion about waifus adding to the games complexity and fun. Along with the ability of users to create threads specifically about their waifus, game updates and warnings would make the game much more in depth and entertaining.

If the thread amount ever reached over a page of threads, then it deserves its own subsection. It has not, and probably never will. I agree with Tsurayu on this one.

I figured (correctly) that a discussion would be better. It's not like the site is just for me. If I just pm ideas like this to Jacob he either does it without asking anyone or ignores it when people might agree.

Slow on the uptake there buddy. IB's been more than 2 pages for a few days. Not only that, but even 6 threads is an exaggeration.



There's a chat thread created for that purpose, and its already struggling to keep to the top since most conversations die after the initial claims.

This is where I gave up looking for Waifu related threads. There are more I just gave up here.

So it has more then a pages worth, and with it's own section discussion would expand even further.


I don't pay to much attention to IB outside of the front page, and I have been focused on other things lately. Glad to see them back I guess.


Having one thread that deals with every aspect of the Waifu game causes problems along the lines of to many pages of discussion so to find exactly what you want can be difficult. While specific topics would be easier to find. The other part about the thread falling is beacuse of the sear amount of threads in IB alone, one of the reasons I stay away from IB, there is so many new treads if it doesn't get at least one post every day it's already at the bottom of page 2 or on page 3 the next day.

I can see the negative of having a sub section that is never posted in and is just a waste, but is the Waifu game really ever going to have no one post in it?
