Why is Fakku the only website that is slow for me? sometimes i have to reload/retry entering the topic, section, and etc i was trying to go into. This seems to be the only website that i have to do this? Is there something i have that might restrict me looking at fakku?

FAKKU! has always had a problem when a over certain number of viewers access the site. However, I haven't really experienced this problem till this weekend, of which I find very strange and it's annoying. It's definitely not on your side.

It happens to me whenever there are 2000+ users online. The site loads slowly, sometimes I have to refresh the page cause nothing loads, connections errors...etc.

If it's under 2000 users, no problem. "Smooth sailing", ha ha.

Well, you could look at it as that is why the website is slow.

Oh well... Let's all just buy Jacob a coffee, I'm sure that'll fix the problem.

I highly doubt it's the waifu game as the main source of the slow site speed.

i agree, and in the meantime, log on when there aren't that many people on i guess.

It's not for me, though I do believe I saw in the irc that fakku went down for abit or some jazz yesterday.

Those of you who have been around a while should be used to this. It seems every few months we hit a new "maximum user online" limit before the site starts going slow.

It started at 30 users -> 150 users -> 300 users -> 700 users -> 1,500 users

And now it gets slow at about 2,500 users. Hopefully we will figure it out/get more servers soon.

Lol, why don't we try separating the bandwith for registered/non-registered users? That might make all the lagging experienced by only the non-registered ones...

Not that I know if that's possible anyway.
