That said, the rep based Flash Games system is working fairly well.
I would absolutely love to turn FAKKU into a site that was almost 100% user controlled. Meaning that users can upload doujin, videos, and games straight to the site resulting in hundreds of new releases every single day.
But as Hibia says above, the cost to accomodate for that would be huge. As it stands now when we do an update each doujin gets anywhere from 1,000 - 3,000 downloads in the first day. On average we do 10 releases an update, which is 30,000 downloads. Each download is on average 10MB, which is around 300 GB a day. Letting users update straight to our server would put that in the thousands of gigabytes each day.
I have been saying this for a while now but I am planning on doing another large scale donation drive and hopefully selling shirts with that goal in mind. It would probably take around $10,000 USD for me to start things moving in that direction.

i have a few things that would help its not really that important but helpfull
1)flash games: some of them don't load and a few freeze while playing(just repost the links if that dosent just give some links to other sites)
2)we could use a better reply system(ive always liked the way deviantart does the response system)
3)we should be able to leave comments on each image(that has some down sides just look at all the flames at doujin-moe[thats why i came here and im much happier!])
4)an explaination of irc on the site(it would help get more atention)
5)rare doujins updated every one in a while would help me and some other users
6)never ever go to a membership its an a**hole move and it alienates users and makes a lot of potentail users turn away
6-a)it would not be a bad idea to make nice with membership sites to get their doujin and images^^
ps i love the commuinty here at fakku its very friendly it has alot more doujin of great quality, great translators, editors, admins, mods so on^^

I would like some of the mangas in the None area to be sorted out a bit more. Like there are alot of series in the None section that could be taken out and given their own series link. Like the Witchcraft series for example.

Any freezing/lag isn't FAKKU's problem. Ask the flash game's poster if you have a problem. Besides, that area is still in dev. [apparently]

I think the new format for each doujin page is great. All the information and links are together and organized nicely.

An idea for a great addition to the site occured to me when I saw that you can have a favorites list - a 'track' feature would be great, where you select an artist or series and there could be a notification system or an update system (ala bakaupdates) where you can tell when Fakku adds a new manga by that artist or from that series.
