Which site should I upload my files to?

I'd like to know from you guys which uploading service site is the best, given that it's free...

I haven't uploaded anything in Megaupload and Rapidshare yet, but I've uploaded some files at Mediafire. Downside is that you've only got a limit of 200MBs...

Rapidshare and Mediafire both have a limit of 200MB. Of those two, Mediafire is obviously the better site. There's no time limit for downloading, and the speed is good. Rapidshare makes you wait a long time, and the speed is atrocious.

Megaupload is my favorite upload site. The size limit is 1GB, I believe, and its download speed is pretty fast. However, it is banned in some countries.

If you're going to upload big files, I'd suggest going to Megaupload. That way, you can split it into fewer pieces, which is much easier than having to download a dozen pieces. If you're going to upload small files, like doujins, use Mediafire. Or, if you want, use Megaupload and Mediafire. It never hurts to offer more links.

One thing worth noting is that Megaupload is not for pornographic material. They have a sister site for that - Megaporn. If you're going to upload something with porn, use Megaporn. That way, your links should stay up longer.

Completely agree with this. Basically, use MegaUpload for file that has bigger size than 200 MB like doujin soft or video; And MediaFire for smaller or file that has size less than 200 MB.

And yeah, unfortunately there's country that has problem with either MegaUpload or MediaFire, you may want to upload on both sites. It's never hurt to have another mirror just in case.



Yes, it would be a better alternative. As example, you can split more than 200 MB file to pieces and upload it one by one. But, the negative on it is... it can be not really practical since the file will be divided into lot of pieces especially if the size is more than 500MB, there will be lot of pieces to upload. And there's a problem when the pieces you upload is broken or what...

I personally use Megaupload's Megamanager, it lets you resume uploads, its the main reason I use it, it makes it possible for big file uploads! This way, I hardly ever have to repeatingly upload the same file.

If your internet is like mine, occasionally disconnects for a few seconds makes the Mediafire website uploader starts all over again. Thats pretty annoying, in the end, I hardly can get even one 200MB file up-ed.

Megaupload. I've used mediafire, it's fine, but for me the uploading speed is faster with MU and I find that it has a better download speed. If you don't wanna wait 45 seconds each download, just sign up and it cuts it down to 25.

Megaupload and megamanager has never failed me in uploading.

btw... I need to get uploading again...

Hmmm... a lot of people are saying Megaupload... yet why is Mediafire winning? Will try MU soon...

well, you don't need HJsplit to split files. WinRar is so easier to compress and split.

I just uploaded a file at Megaupload and WOW was I ever impressed! When you say fast upload, you're not kidding! Literally, it took me only, what, less than two minutes to upload a 90MB file!

Megaupload is definitely the better choice.

Well, this is affected by your own ISP, and the results will be different with other people.

sadly even though I use mediafire or Megaupload, I can only get 8-20 kbps T_T

Just a little note. You can DL more than one file from Megaupload using mega manager download manager from them. It makes downloading there easier.

Medifire!! is the god of uploading manga so it is the correct choice.
