Your Mission Statement

Most sites that have a "Rules & FAQ" section have a direct link to it on their main page. This site, apparently doesn't, choosing to instead leave it up to the member to find a thread for it in the "Feedback, Suggestions, and Support" section.

Now, I did not at first know this, and was searching everywhere on the main page for where one might be. I decided "About" would be a good place to look first if it was decided to combine the Rules and FAQ with their mission statement or something.

Instead, I found this:


Apparently, Fakku.net is about standing on a perch above others, advertising oneself, and trying to look cool/stoic. Needless to say, lulz were had.

My suggestion: put some sort of mission statement there; since you call it "About", one assumes that it is 'about' the site.

Hell, if you want to keep the pic, all you have to do is add a tagline like "THE GLORIOUS PURSUIT OF PORN" or something and the picture would then be relevant.

.........I believe you don't know who're the GAR people in the pic...

and I think the about page is perfect as it is.

Oh dear, why does that keep happening?
Well, here's a link instead, since Imageshack refuses to host pics for me on this site.



I assume that they are the usual "be civil, and use your brains when posting" rules that are on every forum. It even says as much to the side of the reply box when I post anything.
I actually wanted the FAQ, so I could see what things I could do as a regular member.

Well the about page probably should have some information "about" Fakku, rather than just the image. I'm all for that, but writing up one would probably fall under the least bit of priority right about now..

Also since you don't seem to know the image features the FAKKU! Admins when the picture was drawn. (Jacob, Raze, Nikon) so it is relevant to "about FAKKU!".

FYI pic was drawn in a timeframe between 07-08 (uinless i forgot) and it shows just how GAR and awesome Fakku is and thats what fakku is about. The awesomeness of our 3 admins.

Well two of them Mattarat is not pictured, so really only two of the admids appear Jacob and Raze. Since Captain Nikon is no longer an admid, now having the title of Captain.

I like the Idea of putting something else there though.
