I believe it was adult swim which introduced me Ghost in the Shell. Also, inuyasha was shit, except for that perverted fuck in it; he was badass.

I think Taiwan is the only country that is even close to having as many channels devoted to Anime as Japan. While i was in Taipei they had something like three or four channels devoted to 24/7 anime, decent lineups. Air Gear, Ranma 1/2, Tsubasa Chronicles, Maburaho, Strike Witches, Hellsing, Lucky Star, Kikaider, Genshiken, Basilisk, XXXHolic and Fullmetal Panic are the only ones i can remember offhand most of which were uncensored and showing in the middle of the day i was actually pretty f-ing surprised at that because that shit would never fly in the States.
Also Adult swim will never have good anime again and if they do they'll put it on a 2:00 AM Time slot because they're really cool like that.
