Sorry Freaky, but this always annoys me.
Canada (even if only as auxiliary to the UK by being a Commonwealth nation) was involved and had troops in every theatre of the War.
We kept the supply lines open in the Atlantic.
We were there for the invasion of Sicily.
We helped repel Japanese invaders from American soil.
We were at Normandy.
We liberated the Low Countries.
We produced the largest amount of troop transports after America, and by the end of the war, we stood alongside the best with the fourth largest airforce and third largest navy.
While the Netherlands was our most notable battle, we played major roles for the Allies in support, defense, and supply roles.
Out of our forces (numbering over a million men), nearly half were lost as casualties.
We have also been present at almost every major conflict ever since. (Save Iraq, because that's just a clusterfuck).
So it's not that we haven't been to war. It's just that nobody (except the Dutch) cares.
