No idea who any of those are but since this SneakyOne person didn't know Dota 2 maybe the rest don't either and they just decide not to post? Perhaps everyone is just asleep, who knows.

LoL/ league, hon, demi gods and a few other games were based off dota.
Dota 2 is the standalone/ new game made by the original creators iirc.

I play hon very occasionally, and think it's much better than lol (inb4 shitstorm)

This pretty much sums it up, Icefrog (one of the original creators of DotA), created Dota 2 together with Valve and some other people, I myself play League of Legends but I enjoy Dota 2 a lot more because of it's complexity as opposed to League of Legends.

I played HoN for a long time, i think i might go back and try it again, they just redid all the graphics and everything. Dota 2 is a little tough to get used to at first for a HoN player, everything is just a tiny bit slower paced, it takes a few games to get the hang of.
