My tires arent that expensive, what kind of car do you have? So, you didn't even think that 20" wheels, with tiny fucking tyres, might end up being really expensive to replace?
That's just not thinking very well at all...
ot:
My tyres cost about $220 to replace all four, if I do the stockies... If I want to get good tyres for the mags, I'll be looking at anywhere between 600-800. Depends if I'm doing my hub swap anytime soon...
For reference, my stocks are 12"x4wide. tyres are like 155/55/r12. Mags are 15"x6.5wide. Tyres: 195/55/r15
Oh, and fun fact, tyres are more expensive here :D
But yeah. I pray you're from america, otherwise when that dodge breaks (and it will) you're going to be down a LOT of money. Bad choice in wheels, and car, if you don't have much money to spend on repairs and what not.
Essentially, yes.
A car from 1977. Wheels were that small back then. I'm only going up to like 15~inch
Your roads are probably 90 times better than here... And either way, how is having 22" wheels with low profile tyres going to help your situation? You'd hit a pothole and fuck your wheel and suspension up MORE than if you had wheels like mine (Obviously not the exact wheels, cause you'd be scraping rail)
Also, it helps not to be retarded when you're driving... Then you don't hit potholes
That is true. It's bumpy as shit around my house, and if I put lower profile tyres on my car (such as my mags) the car pretty much comes off the ground during some bounces... Which is pretty fucking scary... The extra height in the tyres seems to absorb some of the bump, making it ride soo much better... Tyres in a nut shell. Lower profile looks better, but it doesn't always improve the ride. It makes it handle better, but not on bumpy roads ;D

500 for mine, but I opted for cheaper tires from a cheaper place. If I had bothered to get tires from a more higher end tire store it would have been over that after taxes.
