(I know the picture is huge)

I've been looking around for a nice electric and since I lost a little more than half of my savings that was going towards my guitar (I had around $1100) (I was looking at an RGA8), I have had to lower my choices and I have seen this one in action and it sounds awesome.
What do you guys think?
Edit:
Oh right, I forgot to mention that I'm going for Heavy Metal. Nice and distorted etc.

Not a fan of guitars.
But if you know how to use it,
Then i would say go for it. Price is everything.

Go for it, it's a pretty good model for starting out, I'd say. My first bass is an Ibanez, and it's still going strong.

That's a pretty cool guitar, I'd say go for it. Not only is it pretty affordable, but it looks pretty badass too, also Ibanez is a pretty dependable company.

Go for gibson les paul. They're good for Latins.Gibsons? aren't they a little TOO expensive?

I have a B.C. Rich Warlock that kind of looks similar to that one.
Have you gone into a shop and actually tried playing it? You definitely should if you haven't already.
Edit: I see that it has a fixed bridge; that would probably be a negative point if you're gonna be playing heavy metal stuff, because you can do a lot of things with a tremolo bar.

I got a Jackson JS32R Dinky with dual humbuckers (covered), floyd rose bridge, 3 way selector, and 24 frets for around $250 (300 s & H). You don't have to shell out that much for a guitar with the works.
Also Les Pauls ARE expensive. I don't know what it would sound like on my amp, but I wouldn't risk it.

To tell the truth, I barely know jack about electric guitars sadly. I'm not sure where to start and which specs to read more. I haven't gone into the shop yet, but my plan is to go in there with the money, try it out, and if I like it and it feels like the right guitar, then I'll get it.
I was going to get an 8-string, but they didn't have one the last time I went there. Now I don't have enough for an RBG8 so now I'm looking at this, which from the covers that I have seen, seem very good for metal.

Ibanez fretboards are a bit far apart for a beginner.
Unless you've got fatass fingers. In that case, go ahead.

I wouldn't say exactly a beginner. True, I can't really play any songs,(except for the first few seconds from a few super easy songs) but I can play and change from chord to chord and position to position very quickly and easily. Right now I'm focusing on building up finger strength for full barre chords and fast arpeggios.
I've been "playing" for over a year. I also know a small handful of patterns.
I'm really into heavy metal, "VOCALOUD" (vocaloid screamo) music and Touhou arranges. My goal is to be able to perform a few covers of some of my favorites, which are pretty damned difficult from what I've seen.
^two examples of my goal.
