It's funny, I haven't even been here that long (been lurking a while) but i'm pretty recognizable by the amount of heat I generate, guess it's not how much you post but content that determines your fame.

I don't need to be well known here, wasn't really my intentions. I felt weird with having 'elite' after a week, hense the reason I suggested it.

I even suggested just having elite based on reputation, because I think if you have 20+ rep points you really should deserve the title 'elite' based on the number of posts you can spit out

Yeah, but then we have people like Waar.

Some people hate him, some people like him. He contributes a lot, that enough should garner the rights to be an elite.

I don't think the Elite title should be based on rep because a lot of cool people post cool things but are outweighed by some stupid incident that totally ruined their standing with community.

And I don't want to come off sounding like I'm riding Waar's balls, but he would have around 25 rep if people didn't -rep everytime he come off blunt or got into an argument.

Another point:

Sarcasm and joking sometimes doesn't translate well onto the internet, thus making people to believe you are a general asshole resulting in an automatic -rep from the closed-minded people.

I agree completely, now that you bring it up. Don't get me wrong I'm not a big fan of his, but all of his arguments are itelligent (to say the least). And just for the record I never -rep him, or anyone else.

For that matter, I don't even know why people de-rep me. In my time in FAKKU, I've only de-repped two people because I thought their posts were senseless and off-topic. (Chuu!! wasn't even worth wasting a de-rep.) Leastwise when I rep someone, I say it in my post.

although i always thought that the easiest to get rep is to contribute some hentai-related material to the site, i've seen people with 2 digits posts getting 2 digits reps.

Well somehow I managed 8 within not even 2 weeks. I semi blame it on being female, because I doubt if I had a penis guys would rep me so much, which pretty much sucks.
