Yeah just ask a moderator.
Or just say "requesting a lock". If a moderator sees that on your thread, they'll lock it.(probably)
Also even if Pyre was insulting you, he is right. You shouldn't rush into the place without knowing how things are run. Although to be honest, this is IB, and people do post threads about things that probably belong in other sections(you'll often see tv shows, anime, nosebleed material and video game threads in here), and they're allowed, but people aren't expected to act civil in this section.(which you would have known if you read the rules)

I know I deserve the boo's and the hisses for going against the rules. I expected such comments and I'm not upset by them, nor should I be. I've read the rules when I first found this community but obviously I need to read them again to refresh my memory. Still there are ways to let someone know that "there post is not welcome" rather trying to belittle or insult someone. This is only my opinion though.
