Everyone seems to make the guy out to be a God and it's kinda funny how he resembles the Christian God more and more. That is to say doing pretty much nothing while still be worshipped. The site is a mess and it doesn't seem to be getting better very quickly. From what I've heard the reputation is all messed up (People losing hundreds) and he hasn't bothered to return all of it which I'm sure he could do if he took the time. He doesn't post unless it's to make an announcement. Over on Hongfire, Hongfire frequents the site. He's actually part of the community, not some all powerful God who simply watches over the site doing nothing. Hell, that mascot thing should have gone done like a month ago? but still not progress with that not even an announcement explaining why. I don't think he gives a fuck about this site personally. Just leaves it to other people while he reaps the benefits.You know? I have read this entire thread and I have a few things to share with you
I am old
I dont sleep a lot
I have been up at 3 am surfing and I see Jacob on line working
I see him upgrading and improving the site virtually every day
OK he goes to Cons. Usually pisses away a whole 2 or 3 day at them
Which if you consider he is online virtually every day doesnt seem all that much
He makes money and connections at them which gives him the ability to even further improve the site
That crap you spouted about it all being about an elder is just that crap
When I started here I knew jsck shit about manga ane anime and VN's and how to mount ISO's etc and posted stupid questions and always got answers that helped me from members moderators and even Jacob
If you knew anything about computers you would know that things go wrong
and putting a new system in or adding a server or upgrade that it will have to have bugs
Here is my suggestion to you for all the stress and angst you are going through
Turn off your computer
Go back to the basement
Stick your thumb in your <del> mouth
Have an extended pity party because the reps and a few other things are under construction
Consider all the people here who volunteer to make this site great and adjust your shitty attitude accordingly
Come back in a week and see how much better is it
