You know what's really sad? Being a hippie these days is more a fashion and a commercial trend than anything, exactly the opposite of what it should be, that's why most people can't see the correlation between the idea of death and pacifism (because a big part of being a hippie is being a pacifist in my opinion).
That's where I have to agree with nash, if you don't "get rid" of your ego, if you don't liberate yourself from what is materially binding you to the "physical world" then you can't even begin to understand pacifism.
Personally, I understand the concept but can't apply it in my daily life, maybe because I need to grow up some more.
I wanted to answer something long and intelligent but I'm tired...

I was like "this stuff is sick", but I fapped anyway. And now Mai-chan is mai waifu.
