Fixing? What are they gonna do? I don't think it's their style to retcon pokemon out of existence or completely change their appearance.
I see nothing lame about continuing to finish the set of Eevees. I would find it more lame if they stopped. Given the nature of eevee it would be pretty lame if for some reason they left the set incomplete and thus effectively said "It evolves into whatever because you add whatever to it....except not in these cases because we were too lazy to make them."

You guys do realize that they're not re-hashing the games for our generation right?
Children watch Pokemon. Children buy the product. Children grow out of it. The game and anime is then re-hashed for the next cycle of children.

Everything from the Multi-Tails to the Rock-looking one going clockwise is brand new.
Though we might be about to get the only pure Flying type pokemon ever considering that what appears to be Flying type Eevee, excluding Arcreus.
