If I'm being honest, there are other bands I like, but James never told me the names. He'd just put a playlist on random and I remember liking a lot of what I heard, and since he listens to metal almost exclusively [except for the occasional Type O, Pink Floyd when high, or Gorillaz], I find myself drawn to viking and black metal, but Devin Townsend by far is my favorite. DT, DTP and SYL are just... hothotsex for the ears.

Nice list. And yes, groove metal is straight up amazing. I have a whole album of delicious groove metal that is rather addicting.
