It plays flac and has memory card slot. I have seen them for around £150 and they come in black or sliver.
There is a 32gb option out there but in UK i have only found the 16gb
Doesn't say it supports FLAC.

Dead ones were 500 GB, 500 GB and 1TB. Right now the two I have are 1.5 and 2 TB.

Not enough. If it's just a matter of the enclosure dying and the HD itself still being OK, it would not be a problem, though.
