Alright, what do all of us girls do? Why do you have that job/education/training? Is it always what you wanted to do?

I'll go first. I'm working as a waitress at a restaurant and I have an interview for a second job tomorrow. Hopefully it'll bring in some extra cash so I can indulge my vidya game addiction. Real life's graphics just suck too much for me to care about it.

*crosses fingers and hopes for cute nerd girlfriend to show up in future*

I'm curious to see what everyone else does for work/school. The only one I've heard anything from is Remi being a tutor.

Education: B.A. Psychology with a concentration in neural/perceptual studies, and Russian Language and Literature minor.
Job: online and IRL Math/English/Science tutor (and other subjects but only verrrrry rarely once in a blue moon, only when the stars align and angels sing, Psychology)

Herp derp, such a useless degree I have. At least it looks pretty, and I can cry over it, lol.

Tutoring isn't something I wanted to do, per se (I was into research and music), but I enjoy it well enough when the online students aren't being brats. There are a lot of frustrating moments when the students just. won't. get it. (I call these students the STUDENT OF DOOM because I want to believe it's just one student and not a lot.) On the flip side, when the students do get it because of my help, it feels soooo good, man. I sometimes want to scream "I did that! I lit the light bulb in your head!!!!"

I have a couple of unpaid jobs (or very low paid) as a voice actress and another as a VN composer. This is just foot-in-the-door stuff for me; hopefully they lead to paying gigs, but if not, well...at least there's still tutoring. Composing, and music in general, is something that I've always wanted to do, ever since I picked up my violin and made up songs as a child. Voice acting is something I got into accidentally that I never really considered as a career, but I'm trying to make at least a bit of money off it.

I lol'ed at your "real life's graphics just suck too much for me to care about it..." Sometimes I feel the same. XD

I've got a useless degree in animation and sound editing from Ai of Houston, but I haven't been able to get my foot in the door, per se. Just waiting for that one pilot idea to hit it big with a producer/game designer. *crosses fingers*

I'm happy being a maid waitress for the time being though. I play the guitar a bit to pass the time, though I doubt it'll ever be anything serious. I might audition for a vocals competition in the future, since everyone tells me that I have a good voice. x3

I'm really not on a comp that much due to time constraints, so I spend it lurking with mah frands here and in Liz's topic. I'd like more free time, to be honest, but I just don't have that much of it. I can only play vidya games because I use portables rather than consoles, so I'm playing while waiting for things. :(

Edit: I USED to be an avid writer, artist and roleplayer, buuut... yeah, time constraints. It sucks, I tell you.

Talking abour RPing, I love it too. Too bad there's not much of an RP audience here on Fakku.
