He can turn you around if you are not fast enough. It's what kills me every time. Kinda makes the game somewhat unfun in that regard.

I FINALLY found a gameplay where someone collected all the pages. I almost watched other gameplays not for fun but to see if anyone could collect them all but I thankfully found a youtuber that did and had a convenient title "Collected all 8 pages" -_-
